Onion Bhaji

  • 1 small red onion, finely sliced
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely sliced
  • 1 chilli or jalapeno pepper, finely sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped finely 
  • 1 tsp dried coriander 
  • 1 tsp turmeric power
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2/3 cup chickpea flour
  • 4 tbsp water

Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl and let them rest for at least 10 minutes.

Heat a large pan with a little oil and when hot add the mix in patties – this mix made 4 patties.

Cook for 6 minutes on each side.
