Ingredients
- ½ can chickpeas
- 60g uncooked rice/200g cooked
- 85g uncooked lentils/300g cooked
- 5 garlic cloves, grated
- 1/2 Veg stock cube
- ½ onion, finely diced
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- ½ tsp Chilli flakes
- 1 tsp heaped Curry powder
- 1 tsp Herbs
- 1 small handful raw Cashew nuts
Method
Cook rice and lentils as indicated in the packet; use ½ veg stock cube for the lentils.
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and can form into patties; If you don’t have a blender then you can mash just as easily as they don’t need to be a puree.
Cook for 4-5 mins on each side or until brown on a medium heat.
