Ingredients
- 125g Pearl Barley
- 250g red lentils
- 200g peas
- 1 medium onion
- 1.1 ltr stock
- 1.5 tbsp curry powder
Method
- Using the pressure cooker, fry off the onion for roughly 10 minutes until translucent.
- Add the red lentils, pearl barley, stock and curry powder and stir all the contents so they are mixed in.
- Bring the pressure cooker up to heat and cook for 15 minutes.
- Turn off and leave to release pressure naturally – 7-10 minutes.
- Stir in the peas and either serve warm or leave to cool and have cold for breakfast
