Apple and Pea chutney – Prashad

Ingredients

  • 100 g frozen peas
  • 1/2 large cooking apple
  • 60g coriander
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp fermented honey
  • 2 fresh green chilies
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

 Method

  • Blitz the peas apple and coriander to a medium texture in a blender or food processor.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and blitz together to a coarse slightly runny texture
  • Scoop into the sterilised glass jar making sure the lid is firmly closed to ensure that it is airtight.
  • Store in the fridge until needed
